The theatrical circulation of European live action children’s films in Europe (2000-2008)In this study the European Audiovisual Observatory analyses the origin, circulation and performance of a sample of European live action feature length films for children on European theatrical markets. Circulation is measured in terms of the average number of release markets and release years for these films as well as in terms of the percentage of films that get released on at least one non-national market. Performance is measured by studying the cumulative average admissions for the sample films as a whole as well as on national and non-national markets. Counries covered: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Island, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Sweden, Slovania, Slovakia, Turkey
